Dooars Watchtower and Safari
From Lataguri - Medla watchtower( Bull driven Cart ) With tribal dance. Chukchuki- Only Bird watching. Jatraprasad is the best.
Safari - Gorumara, Chilepata, and Jaldapara. In my view Chilepata and Jaldapara better than Gorumara safari. Some species are sighting morning or afternoon safari. Jaldapara and chilepata are covers with a watchtower.
Gypsy safari only 6 people are allowed per ride.
Elephant safari only 4 people allowed.

HOW TO REACH DOOARS
Few trains can directly reach you to Dooars from Kolkata. One such popular train is Kanchankanya Express that leaves daily from Sealdah station.
For Buxa and Jayanti (part of Dooars) direct connected from Kolkata via train. The nearest station is New ALIPURDUAR JN. Train name Padatik Exp.
Many others train left from Sealdah and Howrah station for North Bengal daily. The overnight train journey and reach New Jalpaiguri station. From Njp station, many private vehicles are available for Dooars.

NEW MAL JN- FOR LATAGURI AREA.
HASIMARA- FOR JALDAPARA AREA.
NEW ALIPURDUAR - BUXA AND JAYANTI.

The weather and climate of the Dooars region
In winter the lowest temperature could hit is 0°C, in December and January. The rest of the winter months are between 11°C and 22°C. The winter season is the best time to explore the Dooars region and enjoy the jungle safaris.

1st day:
Njp Rail station / New Mal Jn. or Bagdogra airport to Lataguri.
After arrival at the railway station, you are received by our representative. Transfer to your hotel/resort at Lataguri. This place is close to the Garumara National Park.
We prefer to put up our guests in hotels/resorts which give you a feeling of being either in the forest or in a tea garden. or near the jungle. Late in the afternoon, we take you to get a feel of the Forest. Depending upon the availability of tickets/entry passes, we would take you to Jatraprasad or Medla Watch Tower (An evening trip accompanied by a tribal dance at won cost. Overnight stay at Lataguri Hotel/resort.
2nd Day:
TODAY OUR DESTINATION 7 POINTS
Early morning excursion to you with capricious cascades, picturesque landscapes, and green tea gardens that lie beyond the horizon. Lunch is on the way. evening back to the hotel at Lataguri Hotel. Night stay at Lataguri.
3rd Day:
BUXA and JAYANTI :

4th Day:
Jayanti, Rajabhatkhawa, & MahakalMandir. Buxa tiger reserve, which was once known for dolomite mining, now enthralls tourists as one of the largest habitats for tigers.
